Biome

Boomer Shooter
#boomershooterA genre for people whose reflexes peaked in 1999. Requires high framerates, low polygon counts, and a complete disregard for modern narrative structures.
Bootstrapping
#bootstrappingThe act of funding your game with your own savings, sanity, and relationships. Usually ends in Ramen Profitability or bankruptcy.
Boss Rush
#bossrushA mode where you fight all the bosses in a row. For masochists who hate level design.
Buff
#buffA change that makes a weapon or character stronger. Usually followed by a Nerf next week.
Build
#buildA specific version of the game code. 'It works on my machine' is the standard response to a broken build.
Bullet Hell
#bullethellA genre where the screen is 90% enemy projectiles and 10% your hitbox. Seizure warning required.
Burn Rate
#burnrateThe speed at which your studio sets money on fire. If your Burn Rate exceeds your Runway, you are technically already dead.
CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost)

CC (Crowd Control)

Churn

Easter Egg

Elo Hell
